Correction
I don't hate
all of NB Power. The customer service fellow I met with today at the the office here in Fredericton was very nice and accomodating.
The customer service reps at the call center in Moncton are at the receiving end of my ire, however...
Once every eleven years...
...one has a double-digit age. Oh joyous day.

Moving...again
So we've been living in an apartment on the north side, not too far from where I was living the past 2 years. Moved in the second week of August-ish. But, our experience here hasn't been the best. The apartment is really nice, but the landlords are dinks. They hate cats and it was enough of a stretch to get them to let us have one cat. But when it turned out that we were going to have two, they were a little upset and have given us an unreasonable deadline to get rid of the extra cat (we can't get rid of him at all). They have two noisy dogs that wake Danielle up every morning. We're not allowed to have the TV up "loud" past 10:30 (sorry, I'm a little hard of hearing). They move our laundry. We don't have our own mailbox, and the mailbox fo the house is locked and we don't have a key. Whenever they drain the kitchen sink upstairs, the contents of the sink end up in
our sink as the drain is backed up. Etc etc.
Also, the neighbourhood here isn't as great as we originally thought. Someone tried to steal gas out of Danielle's car so we had to buy a locking gas cap for it. Houses and cars all around us have been broken into. There's a crack shack two houses down. The duplex on the corner had 10 people living in a 2 bedroom section.
The apartment we're moving into at the first of October is just off of Prospect. It has a balcony that runs the entire length of the apartment (from the living room to the last bedroom). Both the bedrooms have closets, plus a linen closet by the bathroom, plus a coat closet/pantry by the kitchen, plus a large storage closet with the hot water heater in it,
plus a storage closet in the basement! A rather huge step from our apartment now that has no storage and only one closet. It'll be an interesting experience although we'll be on a year's lease instead of a month-to-month lease, but that's no biggy.
