Nascar Mania
Well I've gone and done it. I bought another 1/24 scale Nascar model to build. This one is the #29 2003 Monte Carlo that I'm building for Danielle. My previous experience with Nascar models didn't go so well. In fact, its sitting in its box about 90% complete and I have no desire to finish it as it gave me such a hard time. It is the older Lumina stock car, #5. It was a bitch to assemble and in fact some of it has since come apart. I never finished the body although I think I will finish painting it and put the decals on it, if only to practice on before I put the decals on the #29 body as I want it to be perfect, of course. But just looking at the parts on the sprues I can see that a lot of the things that gave me trouble have been fixed on this new kit and should make for easier assembly. The windows are all one piece, the hoses and safety net are in black vinyl like the tires which will make them much easier to place. It even comes with a Kevin Harvick figure to have behind the wheel! This should be a fun build and I will do my best to take my time with it instead of trying to get it all done at once which is always my downfall when assembling models...

Information
Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

They're gone
An update, happened a while ago, actually. The now useless (to me) parts Ranger I got from Bathurst and my brother's old 89 Escort have been towed away. A buddy is using the frame from the Ranger and I have no idea what is to become of the Escort... But they're out of the yard for good!
