Shiny!
Today I finally got my 10 disc CD changer that I bought a bit ago. Now I just need to go home again to install it... Also, yesterday I bought a webcam. Hooray! But the included headset doesn't work right (can't get the mic to work).
I finished building the Bumblebee Jeep. I also restored the F250 to some semblance of complete-ness. Someday I will finish that truck with everything.

No shit, eh? Well, here's my reasoning for this latest case...
I've been working at the Subway on Main since the start of November. I've closed the store just about every Thursday night since I started. I am alone after 11 or 12. Every time I have been closing the store at 3am.
The store actually closes at 2am.
I am an idiot.

I really gotta get out of this non-blogging funk. For now I'll just do point form blogging to catch up with recent events...
- Came back to Freddy, wrote last 3 exams.
- Invited Lise to a movie after structures exam, but she was in too much pain from car accident. :(
- 4.5 hour shift on Sunday turned into 9 hour shift, which is okay cause I ended up with 4.5 extra hours that I'll get paid for this week
- Finished the Ranger bass boat and trailer. Made the 79 F150 into the tow rig.
- Started building the Jeep CJ-7
- Went to see Chronicles of Narnia with Andrea, Jesse & Mike (note: my electric blue hoodie is warmer than I thought)
- Found out I got a B- on the igmetpet exam. w00t!
- Day off today, did laundry
- Also managed to cut huge chunk out of finger due to glass breaking while washing
That about sums things up. Back to work tomorrow, 7-close. Then 4-12 on Friday. Sometime on Friday I need to go to the mall (horror!) and finish shopping (HORROR!). Should be an interesting experience. Mom & dad are venturing up on Saturday to pick me up. Get to stay home long enough for Christmas and the annual family dinner on Boxing Day and then its back to work on the 27th. Woohoo.

The Tuesday to end all Tuesdays
Not really, though. What's been happening lately? Well, Sunday night I took the bus home after work. On the way I chatted with an old acquaintence and it was a good time. Sunday evening was pretty uneventful.
Yesterday I called about an ad in the Buyer Flyer for a boxliner for a shortbed Ranger. Went and bought it, brought it home, tried to put it in my truck. It wouldn't fit. So I took it back and they gave me my money back. Woohoo! After that it was into the bank to get dad added to my account so he can deposit and withdraw money. This'll make it easier for him to finish my truck as he can buy the parts without me. Then we picked up mom when she got off work and headed out to Curtis's for his birthday party. Twas a good time.
I looked up the part humber for the idle speed control for my truck. Today I called Parkway and inquired about the part; its $375 and a discontinued item. Sweet Jesus fuck! There's an ad in the Buyer Flyer for a truck that is the exact same as mine; called the guy up and the only difference between the two is the colours. Its out in Salisbury and I can get the whole truck for ~$300. I very much want to do this but dad says we need to get rid of the parts Ranger and the Escort first. So hopefully I can get rid of them soon...
Went to the bank again today to talk to someone about my loan. Its maxed out and tuition is due next month. Talked to the nice lady and she gave me $4000; $2800 for my loan and $1200 to pay off my Visa (not exactly, but close enough). So woohoo! One bill payment down.
Tonight is adventures with Josh; will postafterwards.

So there I was, working away. It was about 0045, my helper for the night had just left. Phone rings, its my mom. She had to look the number up to call me. She informed me that Helen is in the ER; she thought she was having a heart attack. She's okay now, but they're keeping her overnight for observation.
Lose. Win! Lose. Win?
Lose: Yesterday morning, while waiting for the bus, I managed to lose my shiny new monthly student bus pass. $38 down the drain. Had to go buy a 10 ride pass until I could afford a new monthly pass.
Win: This morning while at the bus stop I looked around and found my bus pass in a pile of leaves.
Lose: Get on the bus and the earphone jack on my MP3 player snaps right off. Suck. At least I didn't pay anything for it.
Win?: Last igmetpet class today. Last seds class today. Which means no more hanging with the ladies beforehand. A loss in the end...
On the way home from uni the bus had to take a detour. Queen street from University to Regent is blocked off. Military buses and vehicles everywhere. Turns out Mr. Prime Minister is in town, most likely staying at the Beaverbrook Hotel. So if anyone is travelling in downtown Fredericton soon, watch out.

I got all excited when I found downloads of the Tintin DVDs. I've been waiting a week for the first one to download. I mount the image to test and.... I get to choose between Danish, Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian for audio. No English, or even the orignal French. Fuck.
Work and Christmas and weekend, oh my!
I worked last night. Thought I wasn't in til 8, was supposed to be there at 7. Got Helen to drive me down, things went good. Chris lent me San Andreas for PS2. A bunch of people came in 15 minutes before close, grr. Ended up getting out at 3 and walked home. The start of December and I can walk home with my coat open and no mits or anything.
Today was Secret Santa and tree decorating in the geo dept. The tree looked pretty sickly but it looks nice now. Everyone opened their Secret Santa gifts. I got
fifteen (15) Kit Kat bars. Amazing! I'll eat them all eventually...
I was supposed to have today off, work Saturday and Sunday. But Josh has a big project due, etc etc. So now I'm working for him tonight, have Saturday off and he's giving me $40. Score!
